The A Frame is a temporary anchorage device intended for use with rope access equipment. It is quickly assembled on site with all parts secured with positive locking sword pins and is mounted on lockable pneumatic wheels and breaks down into 7 parts and 6 x 25 kg weights for easy and safe transportation.
The A-Frame is designed for use on a flat roof, behind a suitable parapet wall with a minimum up stand of 900mm. It stands 6ft at the front, and is 6th from the trunion to the rear trunion.
The A-Frame technical specification is as follows:
- A fully welded construction, fabricated from RHS steel box section.
- SWL of 125 kg, load tested and certified.
- Total weight 275kg and 180kg at rear trunion.
- 2 forged steel CE marked eyebolts suspension points for separate anchorage of the rope systems.
